Long Ago

Long, long ago so the story is told,
Of a Man who was born to be a King.
He had no throne or a crown of gold
And His palace was only an inn.
He worked as a carpenter most of His life
A working class home you could say.
He wore no fine clothes, He didn’t live in style.
What sort of a King could He be?

But He died on a cross and was sealed in a tomb
And He says that He did it for me.
But the stone rolled away and He rose from the dead,
What sort of a King could he be?
What sort of a King could he be?

Down thru the years as the story is told
A question that cannot be denied
How could a Man who was born to be King,
Be nailed to a cross, crucified?
How could His followers leave Him to die a death of such agony?
His only crown was a crown of thorns,
What sort of a King could He be?
What sort of a King could He be?

But He died on a cross and was sealed in a tomb
And He says that He did it for me.
But the stone rolled away and He rose from the dead,
What sort of a King could he be?
What sort of a King could he be?

CHRISTMAS : SEASON OF SHARING

Christmas is the time of giving and  sharing. A Swedish proverb says "shared joy is double joy, shared sorrow is half sorrow",  which reflects the purpose of Christmas. Jesus Christ the son of God, came to this world to share the sorrow and to give the joy of Heaven. Amy char Michael once said these lines "You can share without loving but you cannot love without sharing".

Two thousand years ago on this Christmas day Jesus was born to fulfil the mission of sharing God's love. The great army of angels shared their glad tidings of joy with shepherds saying 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men' Luke 2:14, the shepherds  shared their heavenly bliss with all the people around and wise men from East  after adoring baby Jesus, offered(shared) their gifts with Jesus.
"The greatest gift is, portion of yourself'' are the lines quoted by Ralph Emerson. Jesus wants you more than any precious gift offered by you. In this age of Globalization and instead of being a worrywart, share your time and sorrows with God. Jesus came to minister not to be ministered. Jesus says in St.Matthew 11:28 "come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Jesus leave the crown and throne of Heaven to save the world from sin and selfishness. 'He himself took upon Him the form of servant made in likeness of man' says St.Paul. Jesus put forth us an example of sharing love and kindness towards destitute, poor, sick orphan and even enemies. Little words of love and little deeds of kindness are becoming a rare part of our lives now-a-days. Mother Teresa says " If you judge people you have no time to love them " . Let us learn love, kindness from the simple life of Jesus.

The Father of our Nation, M.K.Gandhi used to say " To share pleasure to a single heart by a single act is better than a thousand heads bowing in prayer" . We can find this in the Gospel of New Testament. 'The meekest carpenter of Nazareth' Jesus, wants every one of us to be like Him in sharing and loving people in this blissful season.

what an idea !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Entrepreneurs constantly comb their brains and the world around them for new ideas. The trick often lies in figuring out whether a great idea actually has the potential to be a great business.
For instance, putting cup holders into cars was a great idea 30 years ago, but not one that made for a great business on its own.
"Ideas are free and often plentiful," says Jay Azriel, professor at the JD Brown Center . "Business opportunities, on the other hand, come from ideas that have been more thoroughly thought out and researched."
To sift out true business opportunities from the sand of merely bright ideas, would-be entrepreneurs can ask a series of questions.

1. A primary one: Does this fill a void? A clever idea is nothing more than a science project if no one actually needs the resultant product. "You have to determine that there's something actually missing to a specific market--something you're going to supply," says Tom Lane, founder of Propertyroom.com, an auction site for recovered and seized items sitting in back rooms of police departments.
And even if an idea appears to fill a void, it may simply not be something the market is ready for.

2.When possible, always ask this of your idea: Does it pass a live-fire test?
ans: Many ideas lend themselves to an easy litmus test to determine if they'd be needed or popular. A newfangled baked good, for instance, could be tested at a farmer's market before being pitched to retailers. If the sweet concoction doesn't sell at all to the market crowd, the product may need to be re-examined before getting pushed in bigger ponds.
If a breakthrough or an idea comes in a technology-intensive business, entrepreneurs must be wary of how fast technology can change.

3.)The simple question that must be asked here: Does the idea have a shelf life?
ans: "While no one has a crystal ball, the proactive entrepreneur will be on top of potential issues and opportunities with clear plans for the future and monitoring devices to watch for leading indicators of change," says Jim Porter, a professor at Widener University's School of Business Administration.

4).If the idea does have shelf life, the next natural question is simple: How high is the barrier to entry?
ans: The best ideas have high barriers to entry, says Kanchana Raman, CEO of Avion systems, a telecommunications company. If an idea is good but not patentable, bigger competition could overrun you overnight.

5).If a business idea is naturally protected by a high barrier to entry, here's the next important question: Is the idea scalable? The best business ideas incorporate plans that can be replicated and easily taught so they don't require the founder to be the business all on his or her own, says Susan Wilson Solovic, CEO of SBTV.com, a St. Louis-based online network focusing on small business. "If you are the business all alone, then you really haven't started a business, you've just created a job for yourself."
this is all what your ideas let them sift out

moral of life ................................jobs today

Lets talk somethin in common sense.

Why do we work? Hmmm... A stupid question , obviously for money. But is it that we only work for money ? Is money everything for us ? I dont think so . Whats the use of earning money when we dont have the time to enjoy it . Yes have we ever thought that the money earned by us after working so hard is just for fulfilling our materialistic things or the basic needs.

What happens is the more we work the more we become poor. 'POOR', Yes . Amazed right? I meant poor in time. We work nearly 14 - 16 hours a day. Where do we have the time to enjoy ? At a young age we do it easily but as the time goes on we get tired, frustrated and exhausted.

And the worst part of this is we are working for others not for ourselves but for the company we are working in. Who gets the growth name and fame ? Of course not us . we are given salaries and little bonus . But is this only what we deserve ? After doing so much of hardwork we see the owner of the company is out for tours and making holidays and we are busy in the company trying to make his company grow and make him more and more rich .

Have we ever tried to think about ourselves ? We work day ad night and when we are offered another job in another company but a little more higher pay , we shift .

This shows that there is no security . Sometimes we are transferred from one city to another and we have no other option but to accept the order . And if not met the demands of the company,we are fired . And a new individual is offered the same position . This is what we get in return of the time spent for so many years serving. But what do we say atlast ' Hota rehta hain , its all part of life '. Thats what i mean by security .. No job security .

This is no wrong . I dont say that the jobs are not right , they are right but only till we dont think about ourselves . We work for nearly 40 years in our entire life . save as much as possible then get exhausted and then depend on our children saying ki ' Ye ek din mera naam roshan karega' . But wo bechara kaise karega cause we teach him the same thing what we have done in the entire life .

I never said this is wrong . This is right but now the trends are changing. We cant rely on one job and fulfill our demands . We have to look at a scenario beyond this . Today the scenario is of netwoking . all the big giants in the world are earning through netwoking . They dont rely on one source of income but have several sources . Its better to earn incomes from multiple sources rather than one source cause if one closes down the other is still open.
